EXPLANATION regarding the brands BURGOL and SIEGOL
Since the end of 2016, the two brands "Burgol" and "Siegol" have been available in the premium shoe care segment. These two brands are no longer related to each other and are used independently by H. Siegenthaler AG and Freyersfeld Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH.
The Swiss company H. Siegenthaler AG, which has been manufacturing shoe and leather care products under the "Burgol" brand since 1984 using traditional recipes, discontinued cooperation with its former sales partner, the German company Freyersfeld Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH, at the end of 2016. The company H. Siegenthaler AG continues to sell products bearing the "Burgol" brand within Switzerland. Outside Switzerland, however, it no longer sells products bearing the "Burgol" brand. Instead, the "Siegol" brand is used.
In this respect, all shoe care products that today bear the "Burgol" brand outside Switzerland were developed and marketed by Freyersfeld Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH.
Both brands will continue to exist independently on the market in the future.
